The ingredients needed to make Mango Kheer:
  1. Make ready 2 Mangoes
  2. Prepare 1 liter full fat Milk
  3. Get 1 cup vermicelli (Sewaiyan)
  4. Take 1/2 tbsp cardamom powder
  5. Get 1 tbsp Ghee
  6. Get 3 tbsp sugar or to taste
  7. Get 7 Silvered Almonds(Badam)
  8. Make ready 1 tbsp Dry coconut

Instructions to make Mango Kheer:
  1. Prepare all ingredients including pulping mangoes, thinly slicing almonds and grinding dry coconut.
  2. Pour Ghee in heavy bottomed pan and heat it at medium flame and add vermicelli in it.
  3. Roast vermicelli until it turns brown in colour. Once vermicelli is raosted, add full fat milk, bring it to a boil and let it cook for sometime.
  4. Keep stiring it between. Check if vermicelli is cooked till soft. Once done add sugar, as mango is also sweet so, add sugar according to your taste.
  5. Cook till the sugar dissolves completely. This will take 2 to 3 minutes. Then, add cardamom powder and dry coconut, give it a nice stir.
  6. Then add mango pulp and mix it well at low flame for sometime, and switch off the flame.
  7. Let it cool down a bit. once it cooled down refrigerate mango kheer for at least an hour.
  8. Garnish mango kheer with almond flakes and mango cubes and serve.
