Pesarattu is one of the most popular of recent trending foods on earth. It is easy, it is fast, it tastes delicious. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. Pesarattu is something which I’ve loved my whole life. They are fine and they look wonderful.

The ingredients needed to make Pesarattu:
  1. Prepare 1 cup Green gram soaked overnight
  2. Take 1/2 cup Rice flour
  3. Take 1/4 cup Chopped capsicum
  4. Take 1/4 cup Chopped carrot
  5. Make ready 1/4 cup Chopped bell peppers
  6. Take 1 tbsp Grated ginger
  7. Take 1 tbsp Chopped green chilly
  8. Make ready Salt
  9. Get 1 tsp Garam masala
  10. Prepare Oil to cook

For making Pesarattu: If the pesarattu dosa batter is very thick, thin it out by adding little water. Pesarattu recipe,dosa made using whole green gram dal,a popular Andhra style recipe. Pesarattu is generally served for breakfast or dinner. Though i have heard this but never tasted this and attempted.

Instructions to make Pesarattu:
  1. Grind smooth paste of soaked green grams.
  2. Add rice flour to it & add water to make a dropping consistency batter.
  3. Add chopped vegetables to this batter.
  4. Add salt & garam masala to batter. Mix it properly & check again if it is of dropping consistency.
  5. Set a non-stick flat pan on gas stove. With stove on high flame, pour batter with a ladle & spread it to a thin layer using base of ladle.
  6. Sprinkle some olive oil (or ghee or any other that you use for cooking) & put stove on simmer.
  7. Once it firms up, scrape it using wooden ladle & cook from other side.
  8. Serve hot with coconut chutney or tomato ketchup.

Pesarattu is not only easy to prepare but also very nutritious as we are using green gram to make this dosa. We used to go to Chutneys. Pesarattu is Andhra special,which you can find in many of the blogs,native from Ginger flavored chutney is apt for pesarattu coz, the ginger flavor suppress the raw smell in pesarattu and is a great. Upma pesarattu is actually a preferred in coastal Andhra location particularly East Godavari and To make the Pesarattu, first you need to soak the green gram and rice overnight or perhaps for at least. Pesarattu is my favourite since my childhood days as amma makes it atleast once in a month.
