  1. First wash dal and rice several times using water then both soaked in water for thirty minutes,
  2. Now heat the pressure cooker,I am using 5 litres pressure cooker,put the four bowls of water to the cooker,and add two bowls soaked rice and dal to the cooker,
  3. Add little oil,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,and jeera dhania powder,tomatoes and salt to the cooker,
  4. Give one city to the cooker and keep aside
  5. Heat the other pan put ghee and once hot enough the ghee,add bay leaves, red chilli,crushed ginger, hing, and saute,
  6. Put chopped onions to the pan mix well saute it till onions are translucent,and after that put the tempering masala to the pressure cooker and give it a well mix,put garam masala powder and give another mix
  7. When completed add to the plate and serve with begun bhaja.
