The step by step photos will show you how to. Veg Pulao is a comfort and satisfying complete meal, cooked with aromatic rice (basmati), mixed vegetables & whole spices. This veg pulao is with my simple homemade pulao masala. All we need to do is roast the spices quickly and grind it coarsely.

Instructions to make Veg-Pulao:
  1. Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan.Slice the onion and fry till golden,take out and leep aside.
  3. Add whole spices in the pan,add onion paste and ginger garlic paste.Saute for 1 minute.
  4. Add other powdered spices,cook for 3-4minutes till raw smell of spices eliminates.Add all vegetables and salt.Add 1/2cup wayer and cook for 4-5minutes till vegetables are half done.
  5. Add rice and 3 cups of water.Cover and cook.
  6. After one boil,lower the flame to medium and cook till rice is done.
  7. If required add some more water till rice and vegetables are cooked well.
  8. Garnish with fried onion and serve hot with raita.
