Take 5-7 Black pepper
Take 3-4 Cloves
Prepare 1 Black Cardamom
Prepare 3 Green Cardamom
Prepare 2-3 Cinnamon stick
Make ready 1/2 cup oil
Make ready 4 cups water
Make ready Orange Food colour (optional)
Instructions to make Chana Pulao:
In a pot Add oil and onions.fry until golden brown.Now add Cumin,star anise,blackpepper,cloves,cardamom, Cinnamon stick & bay leaves Saute until fragrant.
Then add Ginger Garlic paste & green chillies paste.Saute for 5min then Add yoghurt,salt & Chicken Cube. add Chickpeas and Mix well.
Finally add soaked rice and water(4cups).Cook until water dries up
Cover and cook on low flame for 10min.(Dum)
