  5. Add hot dogs and cook for 5 mins.
  6. Reduce heat. Stir in tomatoes and simmer 12 mins.
  7. Remove from heat. Crack 6 eggs on top of tomato mixture.
  8. Bake for 7-10 minutes until eggs start to set. Remove from oven before fully set as they will continue to cook from the heat of the tomatoes. Let stand 3 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve.

I top mine with tangy feta cheese and fresh cilantro or parsley. Sometimes you'll find artichoke or olives in shakshuka, but I left those out in this version. All sausage products are made with Wagyu beef. Vegan Chicago-Style Hot Dog I'm taking a risk.
