Take 1 cup soaked wheat (soak for 4 hours)
Take 1/2 cup sugar + 1 tbsp
Prepare 2 1/2 cup milk
Prepare 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
Prepare 2 cloves,crushed
Make ready 1/2 cup coconut scrape
Get 1/4 cup water
Make ready 1 cup grated beetroot
Make ready 15 Cranberries
Make ready 2 tbsp dried Goji berries
Get 2 tbsp ghee
Steps to make Lali Halwa:
Wash and soak the wheat for 4 hours. In a mixie jar pour the wheat, coconut with 1/4 cup of water grind it coarsely. Heat ghee in a pan add grated beetroot and wheat mixture cook for 3 minutes.
Simultaneously heat milk in a kadhai add sugar mix thoroughly. Add cardamom powder and crushed cloves boil for 5 minutes and put on low flame, stir it in intervals then add roasted wheat and beetroot mixture mix well,
Again cook on slow flame, stir it in intervals, reduce it and cook like halwa. Pour the serving bowl. Heat another pan add 1 tbsp sugar cranberry and dried goji berries cook for 1 minute, then pour it. Serve hot or chilled.
