Instructions to make Rose Kheer:
Wash and soaked rice and sago separately about 30 min.this helps to cook both quickly.Drain and set aside.sabja seeds also soaked in littil milk.
Pour 1/4 cup water or grease a heavy bottom pot.this helps the kheer from getting scorched at the bottom,then add the milk and bring it to boil on a medium flame.
When it comes to a boil add drained rice and sago.
Keep stirring often to prevent burning keep the flame on low to medium.
Cook until rice and sago are soft and slighty musy.
Lower the flame and cook until the kheer thicknes.add nuts and cardamom powder stir and cook for 5 min.
Switch off the stove.it thickness upon cooling down,now add ruhfja sharbat and mix it well.
Serve it in a glass and add 1 tsp soaked sabja seeds each glass and garnish with pista.
