  1. Take a sabudana in bowl wash it properly and soak in the normal water. Water level is just 1 inch upper the sabudana level. Soak for 2-3 hrs.
  2. In a pan heat oil then add cumin seeds, bay leaf, dry red chilly, cloves, cinnamon, turmeric. If in fast some people don't eat turmeric then you can avoid it.
  3. Now add finely chopped potato in oil. And let it cook in the oil. Add salt so potato cooks fast in oil. Add chilly ginger paste in it.
  4. When potatoes become softer and it cooked 80 %. Add soaked and stained sabudana and peanut powder which is coarsely ground. And then add salt of the position of sabudana as we already added for the portion of potato. Add sugar, coriander powder. Cover the lid and let it cook for 3-4 mins. So that sabudana and peanut powder cooked in it.
  5. Now open lid and mix all well. Now add lemon juice and coriander leaves and mix well and cook for another 1 min till all sabudana become transparent. Don't over cook it otherwise khichdi becomes sticky.
  6. Khichdi is ready to serve. Take it in the plate or bowl garnish with farali chevda. Or potato chips. Serve with the accompaniment of curd or lassi or butter milk. Healthy to eat and fill tummy 😊.
