  2. Get 4-5 medium size Karela ( bitter gourd) washed, peeled, deseeded, cut into pieces

  1. In a heavy bottomed bowl boil water and add washed rice. Cook rice until 3/4th done. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a wok heat oil and add cumin seeds, when it splutters add whole red chilli, chopped onions, chopped green chillies, chopped tomatoes and stir for 3-4 mins
  3. Add chopped Karele and stir for 2-3 mins.
  4. Add cooked rice and stir. Add salt and stir well until everything is mixed well. Set aside
  5. Plate and enjoy hot
