Make ready For boiling rice
Take 1 bowl basmati rice
Take 1 &1/2 bowl water

Prepare 1 Green chilli
Prepare 1 capsicum
Make ready 1 tsp cumin seeds
Prepare 2 tb sp cooking oil
Get To taste salt
Take 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
Get 1/2 tsp garam masala
Make ready 1/2 tsp pulao masala
Prepare 4-6 cloves
Make ready 2 sticks cinnamom
Get 4 cardamom's
Prepare 2 Bay leaves
Get Salad for garnishing
Steps to make Shahi Navratan Pulao:
Wash and Soak rice for 30 minutes. Strain and put in a pressure cooker. Add water, salt and turmeric powder and place the lid and cook till 1 whistle. Switch off the flame and keep aside to release the pressure.
Cut paneer in small cubes.
Heat cooking oil in a karahi and deep fry paneer cubes and when paneer turns golden transfer it in a plate.
Now fry almonds, cashewnuts and pumpkin seeds and transfer in plate.
Now add cumin seeds in remaining oil. When cumin seeds splutter put finely chopped onions, ginger and green chilli. Sauté till onion turn golden Add chopped capsicum
Add all dry masala and mix well. Add paneer and tomatoes and cook till oil leaves the karahi.
Add, cloves, cinnamom, cardamoms, bay and saute. Add boiled rice and mix. Saute for 2 minutes. Switch off the flame.
Serve hot with salad or curd or pickle.
