  6. Remove from heat and allow to slightly cool. Transfer to a glass jar and let cool completely. As it cools it will thicken.
  7. It can be kept in the refrigerator for a week, in the freezer (NOT IN A GLASS JAR) for up to 3 months.
  8. If you don't like it chunky, blend it to a smooth consistency.
