  16. Get 2 tbsp desi ghee
  17. Take 1 tbsp butter
  18. Get 1/2 cup peas(boiled)
  19. Take 1/2 cup green capsicum chopped finely
  20. Make ready 1/2 cup carrot , chopped finely
Instructions to make Garam Masala Pulao:
  1. First strain the rice, keep aside.
  2. Take a heavy bottom sauce pan or bhagona, add ghee & butter, heat it.
  3. Add whole garam masala & zeera, saute it for a while.
  4. Now add onion chopped, stir fry it till translucent.
  5. Add ginger garlic grated, saute it for a while.
  6. Add green chilli & veggies, stir fry it for a while.
  7. Now add salt & garam masala powder, give a stir.
  8. Add rice, mix it well.
  9. Stir fry it for a while.
  10. Now add 2-3 cup water or accordingly, stir it, give a boil at high flame.
  11. Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it until rice is done. Do not stir in between.
  12. Switch off the flame, open the lid after a while.
  13. Take out in a serving dish, serve it with any raita, chutney or salad.
